I wouldn't worry too much... yet.
We've been here a few times over the past few months. Each time, the government has stepped in and stopped the potential strikes. IMHO something similar will likely happen here too.
Whatever you do, don't cancel your tickets until a strike/lockout actually takes place. Unless you are on a refundable fare, AC won't refund your ticket until a strike/lockout actually takes place and flights are cancelled (or maybe the day before). At that time it will be up to AC to accomodate you on other airlines or refund your ticket.
Each of the previous times a strike was looming, there was no real impact (a few Jazz flights that had aircraft repositioned, etc. were impacted).
Unfortunately, I'm in a similar situation as you. I haven't flown much so far this year, and I have approximately 16 segments scheduled with AC over the next 3 weeks. I'm waiting to see how this all plays out...
