Clearly the service AC accords people in their time of need is outstanding. If I had to hop on a plane tomorrow because of a death (and I pray I don't have to), AC would probably be my first call because they do have the most flights, can come through in a crunch and will do what they can to make things just a bit easier.

When I needed them they not only took care of my flight from YHZ, they also had a ticket waiting for my partner in Quebec City and had him on the next available (in fact he was in the air before his leave had been granted by the Navy).

If only they extended this level of professionalism, well not exactly this level as it is not needed each time we book, and management treated us with a decent level of respect, customers like myself would not be bailing out on them and switching to other airlines / programs etc.

Let us hope that none of us needs to use this service again this year. Then it will be a good end to the flying year.
