Technically, no, but you can always try. There's another very recent thread about it here somewhere. It happened to me - I got rerouted with less miles well in advance of travel. I took the shorter trip, since I couldn't find anything else that worked for me. I eMailed, and voila! Got the ORC (Original Routing Credit).
