For his honeymoon, my brother wants to travel to Asia on a paid ticket. He has no status and not enough miles or points stashed anywhere to be useful.

The itinerary below prices at $1,789 in Y and $4,754 in J (that's per person) on CX.

June 18 :: LAX-HKT
July 1 :: BKK-NYC

I thought there might be a circle Asia fare or some other deal out there that would put them in J and not break the bank. It doesn't have to be CX.
