I predict based on TSA's known penchant for both overreacting, and punishing the passenger for their own failures, that the new security set-up will include:
WTMD, followed by pre-scan pat down, followed by NoS, followed by post-scan groping, with random ETD. Get ready for it.
Look, we've all been saying that these machines are ineffective, and beyond worthless. This video proves that they put us in far more danger than they could ever prevent. Based on my own knowledge of imaging, which is also discussed in this video, I wrote TSA more than a year ago describing precisely how this sort of thing could happen, because it's obvious they never considered, nor tested it.
Good job TSA: thanks for making air travel an easier target for terrorists!
