Regardless of wage or job title the people cannot treat a customer in this way.

OP sorry to hear about your story. Write a complaint to United and cc: Lufthansa and Star Alliance.

I have usually been treated well in Munich- however anywhere in the world this kind of nonsense can happen. It is not acceptable to say "but they are not our employees". Lufthansa had employees in the jobs which are now outsourced- either outsourced employees can do a proper job or the company needs to look at a new management model.

Fully right, it is LH who decided to outsource their tasks and thus, it is LH to blame ^
