I can't see anything that would forbid it in the UK's regs, however perhaps others can respond with a more detailed or factual response.

One tip though - make CERTAIN you open the tank and furthermore make sure it is wrapped in plastic. The pressure changes could cause some excitement with the tank and regardless you'll have oil leakage. Neither would be fun.
