Going to toss this one out:

How about Shunbou at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. An amazing place that serves not too expensive Japanese food ina setiing that is not only viusually pleasing but also somewhat unique. The food is varied Japanese cooking and I find it some of the most caerefully prepared food I have had here. Adjacent if you just want Sushi is Roku Roku. Very fine indeed also but I recoimmend Shunbou for the variety.

This is going to mean you will visit the Roppongi Hills complex too so have a walk around there as it is one the highlights of modern Tokyo.(shamelss plug I know but the press says so too. )

Happy to answer questions here or via e-mail on any aspect of visiting Tokyo .

Best,

Mike
