It sounds like the system doesn't necessarily do a CPU if R>1. I find that really poor. If you can use a RPU then inside the window the CPU should work. If it doesn't then what is the point of having CPUs. I have no issue if UA wants to keep R=0 because they think they can still sell tickets but the one of the main benefits of the higher status levels is earlier access to CPU execution and if this is in practice no longer really true then this is a major reduction in benefit to the "most important" customers. At the very least this new system needs a lot more transparency. If I am inside the window, R>1, and I don't see the upgrade happen, is this a system glitch or plan. This is going to generate a lot more calls to the phone agents. Really silly on UA's part to cause extra work for themselves.
