This was extremely convoluted. We took points. But then the front desk gave a card to my companion, saying she had to now give that in the club lounge. Apparently only the registered guest (one person) is entitled to the club lounge, and she was offered this as she is the second guest? The other option is that her and I could go downstairs to eat from the restaurant buffet instead, I didn't need to show the card, but she did. The option to eat downstairs was not a possibility when we stayed in Feb. Being that this hotel was great, I think the front desk agent did this with the intention to give us the option to have breakfast upstairs or downstairs without issues. Again, this was offered in addition to points.
