I avoided the tiger temple due to the treatment of the animals alluded to above. Instead we visited Prasat Muang Singh (I think that's the correct name) which is in the same general area. It was the westernmost outpost of the Khmer empire. Now it's a small collection of laterite ruins. They have a model of what it looked like back in the day.
