I went to the galley and respectfully and politely enquired if the temp could be turned down a little. The lone young CC member who was the Chef immediately turned it down from 24 to 21 which was far more pleasant and I could detect a difference very quickly. It was a daytime flight and 24 degrees was a bit high imo. An amazing flight with an amazing crew, food and service. I will be writing up a TR when I get back. For those Avios millionaires out there dont hang onto them and try the QF A380 F.
If it is too hot on the way back (BA) I wouldn't hesitate to ask the crew if the temp could be turned down.
24??? That's ludicrous. I resorted to (please don't snicker) bringing a thermometer on board. When I showed them it was 24,I was always successful in getting it turned down - but did end up looking a bit of an anorak.
