Get the $1 ticket anyway, it seems like a cheap hedge. I also think you will make this well enough, although when you get in (date more than time IMO), and whether you check bags, will make a huge difference. Once all the summer flights start up, it's a zoo. With Global Entry and carry-on bags only, I have likewise made the UA terminal in under 15 mins, the biggest time sink being waiting for the transport
