My earning preference is miles during the current Mega Miles promotion. Since the UA/CO merger will my old UA number no longer allow for proper transfers? I just went to the Marriott website and tried to change it to my new UA (old CO) number and it wouldn't take it.

I haven't heard any news regarding this....sorry if it's a United forum question.
