I can confirm that the ISM can and has waived the fee for me in J and for my husband in F. In my case, she asked if I was interested in joining the MPC. I gave the completed form to her. She said the fee was to be waived. Same goes with my husband. Happened within the last 8 plus months. I received my cards about 2 1/2 months after my flight.

I have a quick question though (sorry to hijack) - Do the Marco Polo Club and the Asiamiles share the same membership number?
