This is all very helpful. I took the AA flight on Sat on way back from MEL. Had very tight connection (stepped out of QF flight at exactly 7 am, went through immigration (kiosk), collected checked bag, ran to T4, rechecked bag, went through security and was onboard my 8 am flight at 735!!).
Service and food were so so and had seen all shows and movies I wanted on Galaxy on previous flights. Having wifi though after being in air for 14 hours coming from MEL was huge. Might have to go back to AA purely for wifi
