Hi all,

I just called Aeroplan to upgrade a B Class (Latitude) fare from:

YYZ-FRA (20K to upgrade)
FRA-BLR (30K to upgrade)

BLR-FRA (30K to upgrade)
FRA-YYZ (20K to upgrade)

The agent transferred me to a supervisor and the supervisor told me that it would cost me 100K points to upgrade this flight.

Can anyone let me know their experience with this? Is this true? How can it be 100k to upgrade a full-price fare when I could book this same ticket with all aeroplan points for almost the same point cost.
