Yesterday I was on UA 1271 DEN-IAH on 739. There were a few things that seemed a little odd to me, of course I'm not sure if they were integration issues.

About 5 hours before take off, the PDA site showed....

Capacity: 20
Booked: 14 (+5 blocked)
Checked in: 8

I've never seen the 'blocked' before and a couple of hours later is was gone and showed Capacity 20, Booked 20.

When I arrived at the airport the kiosk offered me, as a 1K, to buy-up to 1st class for $202 (despite the PDA site saying it was full). I declined. The PDA page was still showing sold-out, but 5 seats unassigned. I was #11 on the FC standby list.

About 20 mins before boarding, the 5 open seats disappeared, and 5 people moved off the standby list moving me to #6. No one was called to the gate to collect new boarding passes.

Very odd.
