Hi guys - stumbled on this thread via google with the exact same question, but adding:

I'd actually like to stretch my M&M miles with united's special mileage deals - is this possible? For example, I want a return biz ticket from USA to Argentina which United values at say 90.000 miles. M&M chart shows North to South america at 105.000 miles. So which number would M&M use?

Also, fuel surcharges i.e. with Lufthansa for award flights are ugly - is it the same with United?
