Anyway after boarding at AUH the captain announced we needed to wait an additional 15 minutes fro connecting pax, I have no problems with that, considering I could one of these passengers.
But many years ago I regularly flew QR CDG-DOH-BKK, because of heavy traffic we left CDG late. At DOH we were 15 pax to find out our connecting flight to BKK had left. Thus EY can have a plane wait for some connecting pax, QR can not?
Next year I want to fly BKK-xxx_YUL, QR flies this route.
I am gold with EY, who flies YYZ.
QatarA340, I don't like your kind of replies, if they represent QR I seriously doubt I will switch to QR, although my 2013 planning would get me gold flying BKK-BRU 2x and BKK-YUL flying business.
I will continue to read this section however, I have plenty of time left.
My next trip to BRU is a reward business on EY, I am curious to find out if I will be treated teh same as a rev pax.
I do not represent QR in any way. I regularly fly with EK all the time and love it (if its Business Class).
I am just saying it is not fair delaying a whole plane because of one passenger or two fearing they will miss their flight. Yes, its a pain missing the flight, but does not warrant a whole planeload of people to be delayed.
Am I not right?
