I really want a rental car because I will be there by myself and I would like to workout at 24 hour and not pay the $30 to workout at Paris. also I would like to stock some food in the fridge.
I know this is off the wall, but is Paris a clean hotel? I have never been in the Paris.
I haven't visited Vegas for 5 years, but if I'm reading the LAS website correctly (
http://www.mccarran.com/03_carrentals.aspx), the car rental companies at LAS are located on airport grounds in a consolidated facility. So a shuttle takes you to that location and all these companies are housed there. The website also mention which companies are in that facility.
For the time period that you'll be there, it's pretty steep. I did a search for 3/26 2pm to 3/30 2pm and it gives a compounded daily rate. But if you can manage to take the car out for an extra hour, for example, 3/26 2pm to 3/30
3pm, then you qualify for the weekly rate and it's a bit cheaper.
What I've learned when renting cars is check the website often. Rates are adjusted frequently, and since you don't need a credit card to confirm the rental, you can cancel and rebook at the lower rate at any time. So check back often - I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes $8 a day as the dates get closer, unless there's a huge event going on.
