Does this function split the booking into 2 separate PNR's for changes and eUpgrade purpose?
If I have a booking for 2 passengers, I see R=1, can I use this "Divide" button to split the booking into two to upgrade one and waitlist the other? Similar, if one of the passengers needs to change the itinerary or cancel?

Yes, the split function allows you to upgrade one pax or cancel/change the itinerary for 1 pax.
