I think United needs to differentiate itself when it comes to offering for-pay meal service domestically.

I am no longer under the illusion that we will ever get free food service back for domestic economy flights. But it would be good to be served with good quality hot meal instead of cold sandwiches and salads.

UA should include hot meals as one of their choices. It's not that difficult compared to sandwiches/salads. The only additional step is probably to heat up the meal.

And take it even a step further, perhaps they could also include the option to allow economy passengers on international flights to upgrade to better meal options.
