Ohhh the PG-13 things I feel I should keep to myself .

Do want to give kudos to AA in general and the always, always helpful SFO AC AAngels. Had a mechanical delay last night of slightly over an hour on the SFO-ORD redeye. This caused me to miss my scheduled connection to BOS. AA rescheduled me proactively to the next ORD-BOS flight, but did not assign me a seat. I went to the AAgent and asked for a seat assignment, and received my personal favorite Y seat on the 738, 14F on the 28 row 738 (15F on the 30 row is a tie of course). I had had the seat on my original flight but obviously missed that. Good thing I asked then as well, at least three people came up to the GA looking for exit row seats at ORD and I had already picked it off at SFO the night before . Even though my second flight also had a mechanical delay, and ended up getting me home 3 hours later than scheduled, I understand things happen! I need to remember to buy something for the AAngels at SFO on my next (and last for a while) trip through there in a couple of weeks.
