HA is scheduled to begin JFK-HNL nonstop sometime this summer.
Early June it starts. The 4th? I have been taking AA on LGA-DFW-HNL for years and will be switching to the HA flight. The n/s will take 2 1/2 to 3 hours off the trip from gate to gate. This is a no brainer, IMO. JFK can handle adverse weather better than LGA and not having to deal with one additional connection, airport and potential weather or mechanical event is a big plus. I've never taken it but I would guess the EWR-HNL n/s on UA (CO) is also an alternative if you live in Manhattan or west of the Hudson.
