I have a ticket "in progress" with a return flight on Tuesday. It is W class international upgraded to business. It shows as R class on the new site. I lost my seat assignments and could only select in economy. My old seats showed as available on the seatmaps.
I called and the agent confirmed that I was in "First". But he couldn't assign seats, so I got automatically assigned seats. On the domestic leg in F it happened to be my old seat, which is in row 1. He told me that he would call "United" (he was a CO agent) to change the seat assignment for the intl segment, but nothing changed.
I can't change seat assignments online either. When I put the mouse on another seat in C it sometimes has a pop-up about purchasing an upgrade.
