Online check-in failed until within a couple of hours of the flight, probably due to system changeovers.

Record locators got changed by UA for who knows what reason; and at airport check-in, it showed as booked in G according to the UA reps at the airport. And some record locators were split. Not sure what explains the situation but will see what happens once these flights get credited (if at all).
