Problem is there are no Gatwick routes at those dates, and getting Heathrow 1 day earlier/later is more expensive in food+accommodation than canceling and rebooking with the other airline still serving Gatwick.

I think I should get full cancellation without fees given the involuntary change. I would also settle for the original route if they offer a voucher for the taxi fare .
