No contest..the OAK/Alameda Hampton is the best Hilton property in the area. Very new, clean and waterfront rooms. They also have airport shuttle..they are less than five minutes from airport. I live closeby and have my overflow out of town guests stay there.
Lots of wonderful Alameda restaurants nearby, if you have a car.
Rates vary widely depending on area events.

thanks and as observed in another post; Absolutely I was shocked at the value/quality vs cost. I have found that all Hilyon Gardens, for the most part, have been very nice. Hilton hotels are varisble...hmmm
