I think what drives many of us to this board is the experience of, well, being told something, and then being told something different ... or having something different happen. Things don't always add up. When I am traveling by myself, I can monitor things as I please. The awkward part comes when traveling with colleagues or family. They hear something, accept it ... and can't understand why I want to double-check just one more time.
