Farelock maybe a nice feature but paying for it makes it less appealing. Especially for those with status. IMO this could easily be rolled into a status benefit, then it would be valuable.
I already pointed out one way to hold your fare for a day that anyone can do. It is the ability to hold it for 5-7 days that would be valuable.
Again, there are other ways.
There was also a way to hold it infinitely, but due to abuse they took it away.
