YOW-PHX - UA ticketed, but codeshared on AC

I will be going to a medical conference to be held in PHX in late April. It is funded by an US federal medical association, funded by NIH (ie funded by the US government). Although the association pays for the my travel expenses, one on the restrictions is that the airline ticket has to be designated that of an airline based in USA.

I want to fly on AC, if at all possible, over flying on any US based airline. The only way I can do this is by getting a US based airline (that probably means UA) designated ticket, codeshared on AC.

These flights are codeshared on AC. I want to fly on Fri April 27. No problems there - I can get UA 8289 and 8473.The problem is coming back. I could come back on Sun April 29 - by getting ticketed for UA 8474 and UA 8290. If I fly on Sunday, I miss at least couple of hours of the conference (the conference finishes shortly after noon).

However, I can not find these flights (for Mon April 30) on the UA web site, nor through the KVS tool. The question is what, if any, options do I have to fly on on a US designated ticket (but codeshared on AC) on Mon April 30?

From my perspective, I do not have to fly via the YYZ hub - I can fly via YVR, YYC, YEG, YUL, or YWG.

If necessary, I could fly on 3 flights, rather than 2 - and the first one can be on a relatively short haul UA flight to LA, SFO, or DEN. What I do not want is a longer-haul flight on UA metal, but on a AC flight.

PS-Is there any way that the KVS tool can be used to look specifically for codeshared fligths - let us say UA on AC - anywhere in the world?
PPS-I presume that US does not codeshare on AC?
