My card that expired 2/29/12 also says 1 Million Mile Flyer and I've got 1.9 million as well, but won't reach 2M any time soon as I switched my loyalty to UA last year for the same reason. What's the point in flying the remaining 80K miles that I need to reach 2M when there's no additional benefit? If I'm going to be LT SVR, regardless, when I fly US I credit the miles to UA, where I only need another 100K to reach Lifetime Premier with greater benefits.
Besides, I'm still waiting for my 2012 SILVER package. But, then again, it doesn't really matter.....
US wants loyalty, but doesn't give it back. The least they could do is give you LT Gold. Those Dividend Specials are okay, but I have no use for many of them. Even if I nominate Silvers and Golds that does me no good personally, except to feel that I've helped someone else. But, me flying all these trips - does nothing for me.
