Yes, it is a bunker down the end of a corridor but the staff are always good and there's an excellent drinks selection - though the nibbles could be better. The pre-flight dinner on the sleeper service is of variable quality so if I'm flying CW I often arrange to eat before getting to the airport.
The other good thing about the BOS lounge is that the lift does deposit you right next to gate 7 where 99% of BA flights leave from and the desk crew are good at managing priority boarding.
