OP's problem is that somebody wasn't going to be boarded and, as the last 2 pax to show, it was OP and his wife. Both because they were not at the gate 15 mins prior to scheduled departure and weight restricted denied boardings don't get IDB, OP gets nothing other than being reacommodated.
