I agree that the CE meals are much nicer than the CW meals. Last time I flew CW, I was a bit disapointed because I had assumed they would be nicer than CE.
I think a big part of that is the difference in ovens between the Boeing and Airbus. The steam ovens are so much better than the convection ovens for cooking the main meals. Also, that we "tip and slip" the CE meals instead of cooking them in their service plates makes a difference too.
