OP should of file the complain as soon as picked up the luggage and before heading out. Baggage services give you all the info that's needed including the shops for repair...
I would have if I noticed the damage then. It wasn't until i opened it up to notice the nice crack around the wheels! I guess I can consider myself lucky, at least I got my bag back...while others gone completely missing...
