Help selecting US domestic Starwood resort - 80,000 pts to spend

Hi all,

Long time, first time. I'm trying to plan a vacation late June with my wife and small child (almost 3 years old). Money is tight for us, so we'd like to take a nice 5 night trip using points accrued on Starwood and Southwest Airlines. Thus, locations are limited to cities that Southwest flies (most major Continental US destinations). We live in Los Angeles, and my family has done very little recreational travel domestically.

My wife and I have busy jobs, and the point of the trip is R&R and quality time with our son, who loves to "swim." We also enjoy great food and are a little adventurous in that regard, although with our son tagging along, we know our choices will be limited. We probably most prefer a villa, however, so we can go to the grocery store and cook.

We stayed recently at the Phoenician in Scottsdale, and that was almost exactly what we were looking for. Since we've already stayed at that property, we'd prefer to go somewhere new (and besides, I think it would be too hot in Scottsdale in June). Florida might be an obvious choice, but given my son's age, I think he is a bit too young for Disney World. The other accessable properties in Florida appear a little too urban, but that is just speculation on my part.

If you have any ideas, I'd love to hear them. I am generally pretty clueless when it comes to domestic travel. For instance, Starwood has a number of mountain resorts, but I really have no idea of they are appropriate in the summer.

Thanks in advance!
