Funny how the flu seems to be following me around...I was in SIN during SARS and now I'm living here during the bird flu. As far as I'm concerned, in both cases I just follow good hygiene, keep my distance from people who appear ill, and in this case, I just avoid eating eggs and chicken.

Apart from that, life goes on as normal....No point living in fear, is there? Unless you plan on riding on a Bangkok motorcycle taxi...then you'd better say your prayers

Its just that people not living here happen to see just the bad stuff on CNN or BBC. Case in point: my mom, who gets so worried watching tv and calls me every few days to check if I'm in a hospital somewhere...
