I will never use 1-800flowers.com again. I ordered flowers for our anniversarylast week. Got a confirmation e-mail. It said delivery would occur between 10 AM and 7 PM.
We were home all day and I was waiting for my wife to be surprised with the flowers.
I happened to be online at 6:45 when I got an e-mail saying that they attempted delivery at 2:30 and nobody was home. No way - we were home all day.
I called them and the agent said the same thing - delivery was attempted at 2:30 PM. She offered me $20 off my next order - I said thanks but no thanks.
A delivery kid shows up at 7:45 PM with the flowers, which we refused. He said he tried to deliver them at 2:30. When I told him we were home all day, that he never rang our bell, left no door hanger, didn't call my phone number on the delivery paperwork - he said Duh, I guess you don't want these flowers then?
