So I joined Gold today and booked a midsize car at MCO, but when I asked about the Gold when I booked the car, she was very confusing about the benefits....
I am not really interested in paying anymore for a larger car on this holiday, but if I understand what I have read correctly, I can turn up and if I dont like my model of car I can go to Gold and choose another midsize model of my choice if there is something I like there at no extra charge?
Or have I got that wrong?
Correct, but make sure the location has a gold choice as not all do. Not sure how locations differ, but in one instance the gold choice didn't have any cars available when I picked up a car. At the location where I did have a choice (sorry, don't remember which airports I was at), there were about six cars available but most were the same model, just in different colors.
