I had a rental with hertz recently (also booked with national) smaller airport, national doesn't have the lanes nor does hertz. I was already in a national rental (2012 explorer limited) so i had 3 options,
1.return to national and take hertz car 2. swap with another national 3. turn in and take back the explorer
national ALWAYS offer me choice of whatever is on the lot..I always hear "would you like an SUV or Car" it doesn't matter what class i have booked even though it's normally a mid-size but i booked a econ and still got the same phrase
I just don't see hertz giving me the same run of the lot ( that day they had an E-class and Caddy SUV on the lot) my resv was for a midsize
i guess i have to try it before i knock it..
I've been a long time President's Circle member. Just found this forum actually. I just got matched to Executive Elite at National. I have a G37 Reserved at Hertz and a midsize at national for the weekend at PBI, I want to try National, but I'm scared I'll end up with a ricer. If this is the wrong forum for this my apologies. As far as my experience with PC, if you are at a major airport... you get treated like a prince. If you are at a local edition, they don't care about you.
