I guess I was really responding to the "DCA is really only convenient if you're actually working on the Mall or in/around the Pentagon" aspect of the post than the contractor/tech/consulting firms out by Dulles portion.
true...if you're in the district it's a pain to get to IAD. thankfully i lived close to metro to getting to both DCA and IAD were easy. heck, a few hours i could get to BWI no problem.
