Visiting Berlin in May & trying to choose a hotel. My thoughts are: I like the Forte Hotels in Munich & Brussels and guess I know what to expect there. However the hotel pictures on the Forte website look very forbidding and dull. The club floor at the RC is tempting; the RC receives mixed reviews from outstanding to very average. It offloads many of its weekend rooms to discounters.

I welcome comments and tips on location and if the club floor and virtuoso upgrade to a junior suite should clinch the deal. Forte has a better deal on a 3-night non-virtuoso booking in May.
