Time will tell - but this is a precarious time to own an ultraluxe chain of properties which are not really characterized by efficiencies. This is off topic (but on Indian chains), but I am pretty sure that if you are an Oberoi fan, you would also be concerned about what will happen as Reliance continues to increase its stake in the chain. At least Taj will continue its quirky path forward.
