What you need to do is this: look at the flight on the date on which you want to travel, and see how much it is.
If making a fresh booking costs you less than approximately £90, then it's clearly not worth changing your flight. However, if a fresh booking costs more than £90, then it would be worth paying another £90 to have your original booking changed to the new flight. Overall you will have ended up paying for the original flight + £90 to change your booking to the correct flight, but if you book a fresh flight that costs you more than £90, it means you will have paid for the original flight and the full cost of your new flight. So you may still be better off changing your booking to the flight you want.
