I don't fly AC very often, however on some of the AC flights I was on last year I would have been willing to pay a FA surcharge so that they won't be rude to the passengers in Y (not just me) and not to read their magazines in the back - you know - so to give an incentive for them to do their job properly.

Back to the topic .... to me, this is business ethics. To have it called a fuel surcharge in the past and still continue with the practice under a different name is, IMHO, unethical.
