Yeah, that's what I thought. I usually fly in and change terminals via bus inside security. Haven't embarked from LAX in awhile, but that is how I remember it.

I don't think you can easily change terminals via bus inside security either at LAX. Most of the buses require you to have a BP for the terminal you're getting to, and even then, only allow pax on certain carriers on (e.g., QF from T4 to TBIT).
