Stayed here December 2010. Good location in town close to local amenities. Nicely maintained olde world style property. Rooms are OK but need updates IMHO (bathrooms) and all extras are charged (heavily) for. Breakfast good with nice quality items (just don't expect a massive buffet) including some hot items from a menu. Fine dining restaurant (Darleys) was pretty good but service lacked as did ambience. Overall a pleasent stay but only 4* really. Probably best option out of local hotels.
