We stayed at the Radisson Blu right inside the terminal building a few weeks ago - got a pretty good deal on Expedia. This was at a week-end, though, when hotel prices may well be lower.

My recent experience of security at ZRH is limited to that one recent Saturday morning (when it was quite fast and painless) but if you're travelling on a weekday then 7 am could be quite busy.
